I wanted to attend a school not too far from home, 一份和我专业相同的, and one where I could play softball. Mount Union checked all those boxes. A few of my older classmates from Twinsburg High School went there, so I came for a visit and loved it! At Mount Union, I received an amazing and well-rounded education. An education in the liberal arts exposes you to many classes and experiences I would not have otherwise had. When I was an undergraduate student at Mount Union, I had to complete a spectrum of different classes, from Introduction to Asian Civilization to classes about women’s rights.

参与

Playing softball helped me prepare for life after college as well. I practiced invaluable skills such as leadership, I also worked in the Office of 多元化和包容性, which provided me with additional opportunities to harness those skills. I now work with people daily, so those are integral skills to have. Mount Union also gave me the ability to get involved around campus. I was a part of the

When I first attended as not sure exactly what career I wanted to pursue. However, I knew I wanted to work in medicine. My major in exercise science helped prepare me with prerequisites needed to obtain a master’s degree and gave me real life experience with patients. I got into the physician assistant studies program at Mount Union directly after earning my undergraduate degree and then, 毕业后不久, became a PA at the Cleveland Clinic. Both of those accomplishments I would have to attribute in part to my education at Mount Union. I am thankful I had professors like Dr. Ron Mendel, who helped guide me whenever I had questions about what career path to pursue. I am thankful for the ab f field shadowing through Mount Union.

What I love most about my job emergency department at the Cleveland Clinic is the variety each day can bring. We never know how many patients we are going to see or what problems we are going to encounter until patients start arriving. I h at a university someday in the future!
